I stopped myself from reading this manhwa many times because I’ve read some of the comments that the emperor is nothing but a douchebag. So I ended up reading it and the only thing that I can say is NO he doesn’t seem like one, he at least tried to stop himself from scolding the queen during the delegation. Hmpp if we’re gonna talk about douchebags and trashes I could say that the number 1 in the rank is the emperor from remarried empress GEEZ trashta and him really suit each other. One thing I kinda don’t like about this manhwa is that the empress and emperor seem like weaklings :(((

The thing that makes him an ass in my opinion is not his attitude, it’s the choices he made were made completely disregarding how it would hurt the FL. He didn’t even think about the damage his choices would make & honestly he didnt care as long as it helped him get what he wanted ( Rosemond as empress) and he continually makes choices that hurt her. He doesn’t stand up for her like he could. he could’ve gotten rid of Rosemond if he really wanted to but it takes a second assasination attempt for her to be executed....despite all that I DO find myself forgiving him in the end since he does genuinely love the FL (not rn but kinda in the middle and end)
For the future improvement of the empire, I shall take Carsein home with me ლ(´ڡ`ლ)
