It depends if you feel comfortable reading it. While it's more explicit than the manhua, most early sex scenes aren't really consensual so it classifies as rape in a sense. Aside from that they're still good to eachtother and eventually get together, as for pedophilia it's mainly cause Agares has already met Desharow as a 15 year old back then, only 1 occasion tho so idk. It does have warnings and gore so be careful

You have to read the novel to get any of the crazy graphic stuff. This is Chinese so it's so tamed down that it can be confusing at times. I'm here for the sexy merman who pretty much stays a merman. It's worth it for all the pretty mermaid art, imo. Just ask if you find any scenes confusing and those that have read the novel will explain.

When babies are born their time in the womb is automatically counted as a year passed, so they're 1 at birth and then again once new years passes, everyone gets another year added, so people in Korea are +2 years or so compared to international ages. (The system was gotten rid of as of this year I think)
