tbh, this is "boring" for others (for me as well) because although the premise started out good, the story turned out to be far too cliche, and the events are easy to guess + characters are too one dimensional- they lack depth.
it also honestly irked me that the entire season 1 hyperfocused on the ML and FL's misunderstandings, like bruh give us more juicy tea or something? give us more events related to the bigger plot??? It felt like almost every chapter had lines of FL going "but it wasn't me" etc. Like i know it's the plot, but there's a limit to how much you repeat information that's obvious, at least thru dialogue.
i can go on and on about the things i disliked from this but really, i think most of us readers who expected too much from the unique premise and then met with blandness were just really disappointed, hence the harsh rating and comments? idk lol
