Yona's mother's eyes are similar to Yona's eyes (the drawings). Like, before she got burned, she has the eyes of 'Innocent and happy Princess Yona'. Then, after the fire, she has the exact same eyes as 'Badass and wise Yona'. They really are mother and daughter.

Okaye, so the first chapters were "cute". Not great or wow, mainly because the concept reminded me of Tokyo Ghoul and because I thought the girl was lowkeye slow and useless and the romance felt off. But I continued. The graphics are amazing (love the expressions in the eyes of the characters). And yesss it really gets better after, and now I absolutely love it!! I'm attached to each and every characters and their complexity (even the girl, sorry I forgot her name), and it is still very different from Tokyo Ghoul, which is something I appreciate.
Definitively one of my favourite romantic stories out there!! Arghhh the feels, and what an amazing concept (ew, I used the word concept lol)!! Tho, I'm so sad for Dohwa and Baekyung.......... I hope they were reincarnated and somehow found hapiness!! Thinking about this alternative ending makes me feel better...
I hope this gets popular caus the art is so fine and the storyline is great. I love the characters too, they seems well fleshed out.
