We’re hating on him because of the WAY he broke up with ML, not because of his decision to break up per se. MC has sex with ML like everything was fine, then ghosted him next day, and when confronted by ML choose to belittle and humiliate him, instead of saying his true feelings and concerns that lead to the break up. The way MC acted was completely immoral, immature and just plain disgusting. He could have sat down with ML and explained that he can’t get past the age gap, and although he appreciates the time they had together, he thinks it’s better to go their separate ways. Instead of something as obvious as that, he pulls all that bullshit.
Well you are right, he needed to talk it out. I'm just trying to see it in MC Pov, if he was too nice while breaking up , Ml would still come back, I think he wanted to be the bad person, that way Ml could move on. But I get y'all.
