Chp 1: they break up because LiYu believed his relationship with Liang was nothing but a publicity stunt for the (still unnamed) drama. We go back to their first meeting during the auditions. And which team LiYu bats for becomes the big question.
Chp 2 & 3: Liang wanting to find out if LiYu is straight or not, takes advantage of the trip to the outside filming location to "seduce" him. Meng Dao get LiYu to drop his guard by excusing Liang's weird behaviour(flirting) as a publicity stunt to hype up the drama. LiYu doesn't understand what Liang is asking him so... their miscommunication begins.
Chp 4: Idk if the room sharing is a ploy(I highly suspect it though). For all LiYu knows it could be another stunt, he's a newbie and studios do that shit with hidden cameras. He does not know that Liang wants to do with him. The t/ns with the alternate translation for some words is to show what he is hearing. Liang's dirty comments are not reaching him. So he saw none of the stuff at the end coming.
Chp 5: ...more miscommunication...
Liang right now just wants to know if Liyu is straight or not and willing to be banged by him. LiYu gave a vague answer, vague.
