Let’s be real, I think Mokyeon is a piece of shit too but he loves Nanjo for who he is, not just his face. He notices every little thing about him and adores his personality.
He also repeatedly mentions that Nanjo is kind, a bit clumsy but can also be prideful and petty. Nanjo’s voice alone is comforting to him and he literally cannot stomach the idea of hurting him. He cries at the thought that Nanjo doesn’t like him and that’s not because his ego is hurt, his self esteem is probably one of the lowest I’ve seen. He doesn’t even really care about the sex anymore. This chapter proves that it has to be Nanjo. Also, a lot of Mokyeon’s character is very much embedded in the subtext. Like his self value is ridiculously low, he’s hedonistic and selfish but also thinks he’s undeserving of love and there is also so much SELF HARM that is not even narcissistic in nature in that he doesn’t seem to be doing it for pity or attention, more so because he doesn’t seem to value his well being. Lol there is so much to his character, we are free to critique him but I think it would be a disservice to simplify him.

What I’m saying is, why is everyone in the comments hating on Sunhwa when Mokyeon is the same and was probably worst in the past? I don’t care if Mok had a plenty of body counts before Nanjo, this story is his and I’m sure he will eventually get “a little” better but like, why is everyone siding with him and totally hating Sunhwa when they are the exact same? If your logic applies to everyone then the twink has also every right to act like this if in the future he will fall in love and change
I don’t like that authors make their characters rely on sexual desire or forcing their partner and treat is a character development when the bottoms stops saying no and starts to say “more” during sex, if they can give me a Mokyeon who’s not actually a selfish person and truly cares about his partner then I might change my opinion about him but so far I hate him the same way I hate the twink, but prob him more because I hate when people act out of pity and commit self harm to get someone else’s attention instead of trying to change and get help

They're not the same at all. Yes they have similarities (both of them cheated on previous partners btw not just the mc) but their characters are not similar in any way. Ppl are hating on the brown haired dude cus he clearly doesn't have any feelings for nanjo expect wanting him for his money and using him as his little bank so technically he's a gold digger. While on the other hand Mr.blondie acc loves nanjo and we never saw that he used him for his money or anth. I don't think ppl hate or brownie cus he's sleeping around but rather the way he acts towards nanjo.
And for the sex centered thing, I mean that's literally the manhwa's plot? the plot is roaming around the idea of them having a treesome that's the base of this manhwa so I dont really see why is it a problem to centre it around sexual desires ect.. and acc the author is diving into the mc's emotions more than his lust from my pov. Also the mc's is not trying to get any1's attention. As we know if there's sm1 he wanna seek attention from its nanjo. And we see in the chapter he hurt his ear that he didn't do it in front of nanjo but rather the ppl that he doesn't really care about.

I see where you coming from but at the end of the day the three of them are cheating. No innocents here, I love Nanjo but he's cheating too at the end of the day. The twink hate doesn't really comes from the fact that he promiscuous. The only thing they showed us right from the start is that he's a gold digger, full of himself, likes to fake personality, talks trash behind people's backs, narcissistic, obnoxious, etc. So why would any reader like him? The ML shares the trashy personality, promiscuous etc but as he is a main character they show him as a whole and we see him falling for Namjo, his thought, have cute behavior or funny etc....So obviously people see him as someone with less flaws than the twink.

So yes I don't see problem with the hate coz the author made it that way, is the only thing people know about the twink...maybe he had cute moments or sincere fun with namjo on dates maybe he some times find nanjo endearing or liekable...we don't know, haven't seen it. Maybe down the road the truth is shown 1.they can make him a more real character and not always show him in a bad light or 2 he's real deal trash and what they show us will be even worse. We don't know I hope is the 1 option because the that would be so Interesting.

I would like to see the ML struggling even more if the twink turns out better than shown

By the way I'm no fan of the Ml here he forced Nanjo or let say coerced him and that was assault in a way. Just trying to explain why is normal.for people to hate on the character (twink) purposely made hateful and only shown that way

Yes I hate them both but tbh the only thing I hate about ml is that he's a bastard who promised nanjo that he won't touch that bitch but he did it behind his back and went off to sleep with him like nothing happened + nanjo is too pure and innocent for the likes of them and I hope he finds out about it

Fr. If that twink finds out that his boyfriend is cheating on him with his fwb, he's rightly justified to get mad. Also we were all hating on Mokyeon a few chapters ago now we love him? To his credit, he did accept his feelings and tried to get better. That was miles bettee than a lot of other MLs. The bar is in hell for BL manhwa tops.

None of them is currently in a relationship and Nanjo is having sex with Mokyeon because Mokyeon blackmailed him on never leaving the twink alone if he didn’t let him fuck him, if we count the twink and Nanjo’s relationship as something serious then it all went down the drain since the beginning cause the twink suggested the threesome

i think saying all three aren’t innocent is a bit strange in this context, since the debate isn’t about who’s good or bad, but rather, the onslaught of hate for the twink and the romanticization of MC. especially when the MC has violently raped nanjo multiple times while the twink is at worst, a shitty type of person.
