And. Its. Coz. Of........... Madam Seymour. She wanted to control Theo and her alone so she had someone forge a letter between lily and owen. Forged Letter stated how lily hated theo and that she will be on everetts side(the gist of it, im not really sure what the letter contains exactly) madam seymour had Theo read it and BAM the asshole decided to treat MC as public enemy #1 without so much as a confrontation or even question lily about the letter. Someone will eventually find that letter is forged but no evidence that it is coz the forger was already killed by Madam seymour.

Idk where i got this but what i remember hes not a normal human. He called himself monster for some reason i cant remember So he did love her but choose to distance himself from her cus he dont want her to find out about his identity. He 'ignore' her but more like 'you can do what ever you want as long as youre not hurt' type of situation.
