i dropped this previously bc it was updating and i had no patience. Can anyone not really "spoil" for me, but let me know: when does the romance start like, developing properly?? like obviously the connection starts fast, but when do we see the MC start to be less stone wall super-computer and a bit more human?
i remember why i dropped it the first time, its because the last 40 chapters make me feel so debilitatingly upset for the duke it actually gives me a headache to read
"slowburn this" "slowburn that" at this point in the story, the "slowburn" is DONE. they both have been fucking since chapter 20 and basically dating since chapter 50 and they both know (and have BEEN known) they have feelings for the other. The only thing keeping this from ending on the note expected to end on is the main character pussyfooting around giving a proper answer, being noncommittal and indecisive AFTER THE FINAL ACT HAS ALREADY PASSED. there's NOTHING else that the author needed to build up to, the relationship was ALREADY THERE. This is just obnoxious and spreading the story thin.

the only reason he even says "yes please date me" in the end is because he finally gets it through his fat dense skull that he cant lead on, fuck, and date around with youngchan without actually committing to a relationship, because youngchan actually has some SELF RESPECT. oh my god it pisses me off why did the author decide to strain this story, making it uber-cliche and stressful in the last 10 chapters for absolutely no reason.
ML- "REAL bad luck is shown through MULTIPLE events people usually go through only ONCE in their lifetime"
MC- "oh yeah ive definitely been through THOSE, because I had an accident ONCE"
bitch, your grandma dying when you were 6 and being in an accident ONCE do not constitute some horrible lingering heaven-defying bad luck. this main character syndrome "my past is the darkest" bullshittery from the MC is kind of pissing me off.
Like, if were gonna do the trauma olympics, lets consider the ML getting trapped in a fucking tree box and then again later in another box, losing everyone he has ever loved, hundreds of years in solitary confinement, turned into a fucking ghost, child neglect and abuse, + more. And MC you had what?? granny died and you broke your leg?? you had a mid child-hood? like be so fucking for real i right now i cant with your gaslighting ass

its insane how difficult this was to read/watch as a middle schooler and highschooler, but now it feels like a breeze??? like, in middle school i actually had to halt, take breathers, punch pillows, and occasionally drop this damn manga bc of how cringe, toxic, oh my god cringe it is, but i tried reading it just now thinking "im up for a challenge", but 12 chapters it usually would take 12 days to read went by so fast?? but i am done with it though, like i cant bear to continue reading this relationship through 60 chapters, AGAIN.
Any two faced ML’s? Like they act all nice in front of others but are rude/indifferent to the MC (AT FIRST). It can be any genre or setting with romance
