The reason I’ve stuck with this story for over 100 chapters is because of its unique storyline and characters. The plot being unique and her staying the same age for most of the story so far aren’t even related. If you think an age skip nearly three seasons in qualifies as “going straight to being an adult,” that’s entirely on you.

Unfortunately, you’re asking for the impossible. Expecting her to grow up and not get a love interest is unrealistic considering they’ve already put in place the setup for one
A character staying young forever can only last so long before it becomes repetitive and their growth becomes static. And we are already seeing the cracks start to form in the story. Her growing up means way more opportunities for character growth outside of the usual formula.
I’d say I much prefer her staying relatively young, because of her age she gets away with being cheeky and smart, but once she’s older I can’t imagine a direction they could possibly take it besides down either romance route or inventor route, both of which are uninteresting in my opinion
