At that the homophobia in Korea is insane which can lead to bullying which is even more insane so he is rightfully scared. I don't care if he could lie easily or whatever. Read this again cause I forgot how much the ending made me suffer. At one point the manhwa was so realistic at the end that I was frustrated (not in a bad way please don't misunderstand) and wanted kirin to just die but then I realised that kangmoo still wouldn't feel much about it AHYFBXDJ it's so fucking depressing yet realistic I hate it I HATE ITTTTT (i love this manhwa to death mind you) anyways I headcanon kirin dying sooner or later because honestly 1. He won't leave kangmoo so he is gonna suffer his whole life anyways because kangmoo obviously can't reciprocate those feelings and I am pretty sure he will start killing. 2. It's the only way honestly. I don't see any other way. Even if they are together Kirin can't really have "peace" because I am so sure kangmoo DEFINITELY starts killing. He can't suppress that anymore. And Kirin won't leave kangmoo. But I wonder, if Kirin could somehow get over this relationship and move on and leave kangmoo for good. (Although I don't know if Kangmoo would chase Kirin or not. Not because he likes but because Kirin is HIS possession so.) Hypothetically if Kangmoo doesn't care if Kirin leaves and Kirin does actually leave Kangmoo for good can Kirin live a good life? Hhh anyways. This hypothetical situation as well as Kirin dying is probably the only headcanon I have and would actually want to happen
