This is unique from the vast bl stories out there. The characters stayed as twisted as they were from the beginning. Reading this is a totally different experience, since I usually empathise with the uke characters in the bl stories I read. I found it hard to root for the seme, but the same goes for the uke. There was not much pov from the uke, or is it more correct to say that the story is not centered on the uke's character development and life story that's why this feels new. Perhaps a character development on both sides and a bit more pure (?) love between the two will make it similar to other stories out there. BUT, this is a fresh perspective for me, a new plot to have experienced. The ending kind of lacks, but it was one of those stories that I wouldn't change how it went.
this reminds me of a zombie apocalypse film but the genre leans more on psychological. the mother also had to axe her son's arm to prevent the infection
so the situation amongst us here, is like entering a horror house knowing fully well what they walked into, yet complains at the end that it was too scary. let that sink in
