okay so , taekyung , didn't let heeseo close to him before , because he wanted to keep his mother's past hidden from him as per ,miss kwon's request but also because he suspected his mother and was investigating the case ,
and that's why he wanted to repay heeseo so bad cause he felt guilty of his mother's actions
but at the end he chose his mother , not heeseo not truth and definitely not justice , and he couldn't face hee SEO anymore so he wanted to send him away
but doesn't he think that's a little too cruel
but then again growing up as he did , i guess he doesn't have the emotional capacity to bear it all
he's an imperfect person , and truly selfish , he sent heeseo money for his own mental peace and at the end too , he did what he thought was best for him
