This story is quite psychological without being very disturbing. So it would be more a coming of age type of story rather than needing a < psychological tag > to serve as a trigger warning. _ i believe it's rather mild , what i feel is that the ML might have interalized homophobia, and/or he might be asexual. After all, we don't know at all about the kind of intimacy he shared with his girlfriend. They were as a couple , in the public eye , PERCEIVED as close because they were seen as '' always together '' in public, and it seems the ML was on his best behaviour and gentleman-ly to her. BUT from what we see and what we know, we know nothing about how they were with each other in their alone time. (And later we learn that the ML never EVER invited his own girlfriend to his place, NOT even once in two years time! So... !! It's interesting !!
When I said frustrating I meant their big ass misunderstanding, and idk if the seme is self aware of his feelings towards the uke for him to be that possessive or he's just being possessive without even acknowledging his own feelings.
