I think he was so done with the relationship that he looked for any excuse to get out of it, also didn’t he know that his boyfriend the VOICE ACTOR would have protects that involve kissing and stuff. He didn’t even see the guy cheating he just assumed. I think that shows that he never trusted his partner even the partner never gave him any reasons...
