Tbh, I kind of understand why the ML said those to the MC (chpter42)
When you've just lose your parents and gave up on living and can't bare the pain and tries to attempt suicide but then somebody stops you from doing it.
Then acts all nice and caring towards you, all smily smily witout evn thinking of asking why you attempted suicide or have a proper short conversation. I myself would be annoyed at first too.(Evn tho it was on a good action, the feelings and pain won't agree with the situation and misunderstand the kindness.)
When MC said about the orphan thing. It also hit hard on me too.
Orphans specially who were abondand or lost their parents at a very young age does not remember their parents faces when they grow up. They may miss them but they don't remember or know their faces and has been a long time that the gap may have been filled or have gotten accustomed to it.
But here MC just lost his parents, even rememberjng them hurts and pains him to the point he no longer wanted to live. Everytime he sleeps it haunts him, remember their faces also pains him so badly that he feels as though he has nothing left anymore.
Why am I explaining this?
From experience where I've never literally seen my mother's face since she passed away when I was only 2months old.
