I think Koichi looks at his mom's death too negatively...correct me if I'm wrong but she died trying to make his life easier. Her wish was to see him happy. If she knew that he found somebody that he loved and was living to help rule and guide hundreds if not thousands of lives then I believe she would be happy. As much as he wants to think she died for nothing she died knowing whatever he did would be the best choice. And if he lived his life with Caius, as the bride/queen, he could do it in honor of his mother for motivating and working so hard to ensure the life he needed to live the most. right? ┑(￣∇￣")┍

Yeah, I completely feel the same way. His mom died because she worked so hard to ensure that he would have a happy and safe life, so If she knew that he had found someone he loved, then she probably would not have hesitated to tell him to stay with Ciaus and be happy. And plus, the perfect life that Kouichie wants to live so that his mom didn’t doe for no reason doesn’t need to be one where he is a successful business man, it could be as simple as staying by the person he loves side. I understand why Kouchie wants to go back to the human realm, but at the same time I feel like his reasoning has holes in it. He didn’t say that he wanted to go back to the human realm so that he can see his best friend and family again (although that was the reason at first), he wants to go back to live as the perfect son he thinks his mom would have wanted. However, that “perfect son life” could be found with Ciaus no? I mean Ciaus has shown him nothing but love and respect this whole time and I feel like Kouichi is impulsively throwing everything that Ciaus and him have worked up to away. I just wish that Kouichi thinks it through a little more and maybe even talk to Ciaus before really deciding If he’s ready to leave everything behind. yes, seeing the growth T^T I can appreciate a 'pure' or 'innocent' character from time to time but Hyesung has come so far and it's so freaking beautiful seeing him change.
I still remember being so impatient to get the next chapters, like I have such a deep love for this manhwa it's insane. I absolutely adore Yeowoon and I have never been so enthralled with a story.
