They are bonded/fater partner. From what I can recall (feel free to tell me I'm wrong) the first time they had sex they unknowingly bonded. It has something to do with Kishiar's power. He can pull and push energy, he can create a bond and severe it. That's why Yuder didn't emit omega scent at all after he spent the night with Kishiar during his first heat. Only Kishiar knew his scent.
When Kishiar "happily" died on Yuder's hands, he severed the bond resulting Yuder's holes in his core/soul and memory. Yuder remember fragments of their relationship but the underlying feelings between them is unknown and questionable. For example whenever they had sex, Yuder in his previous life he thought it was just part of them being alpha and omega, no feelings.
Slowly when his memory returns that he learn that is can not be true.
One thing for sure whenever he remember his past life with Kishiar, it hurts him deeply. At first he thought it must be a regret because he killed Kishiar but the truth is more complex than that.

He is suffering all alone for so many years not knowing why and how. Some of his questions will get answers in this current life but it's hard to say that his troubled heart from his past completely healed.
To sum it up, what they had is more than just fleeting and ordinary. They both are not ordinary human beings after all.

Same here. I remember after done catching up with the novel I found any other BLs were so plain in comparison. It's hard to get the same excitement again after reading Turning.
My only issue about the romance part connected with their past is dragging. After more than 1000 chapters that they finally solved the remaining mysteries of their past relationship. At first I thought that should have been on priority but everything else is executed perfectly!
I don't mind all sub-plots / sub-quests because those are entertaining. Each arc is enjoyable although lengthy.
REAL. I enjoyed every single part tbh, or maybe its because ive already experienced the same with tgcf but yeah It was nice, I liked the pacing because everything is so fast these days. The story made me feel so immersed with how slow it is, it really made me feel like im part of the cavalry.
Still ongoing and more than 800+ chapters. This is the slowest burn ever but I genuinely like this. This is heavy on plot than romance. Romance is subtle but leaving a great impression each time so definitely worth the wait to see their relationship blooms.
Since this is basically written from Yuder's POV who is clueless about his previous life, we have to follow through each layer of story being revealed.

There's a huge mystery in his previous life that he didn't know about. It was not lack of anthusiasm to know the answers but simply because his previous life soared into different direction. Not just him but also people around him living completely different life and position. He found the answers only in his second time.

The story is being condensed in manhwa. I think each chapter in manhwa is 2-3 chapter in novel. But surely this will takes years to finish. I am in for long journey tho' (๑•ㅂ•)و✧

Until now the plot is continue to be consistent and immaculate. For romance in this story, if I could describe the romance in this it feels like "polite" yaoi. Even with alpha-omega verse included, this one doesn't feel like one. The build-up Itself is interesting. Like water droplets turn into reservoir ready to burst.
Sometimes I imagine if this gotten shounen - adventure - fantasy tags, this will definitely gather a bigger audience and more popular. The yaoi tags definitely sounds like a alarm for many.

Until chapter 22 I barely see any chemistry between ML & FL too. ML too busy nurturing his wounded soul that he barely care about his surrounding and FL too busy juggling hardcore tasks every single day to maintain their dignity as noble. ML lack of effort is troubling. Yeah he fight monsters but it's not every day occurence and ever since he became a count he should act like one but duh he neglect everything and everyone for 5 years! It's not just FL who want escape from ML's self destruction, readers too....
This is the best romance fantasy I've read so far. Lacks nothing.
Reading the novel in one go is the best decision ever! And now with manhwa is still ongoing I'm glad author do amazing job in portraying the story so far. Art is beautiful too!

ML is not gonna let things slide but most of times it's FL suffering alone because she don't want ML to get into trouble with the Palace. ML is the most important figure in their kingdom beside the royal family so FL don't want to ruin his life. ML is trying the best to protect her tho' and at the end he kill the princess.

This is pretty serious tbh, Wind Breaker got cancelled after the allegation of tracing from another stories proven to be true. After 500 chapters Wind Breaker being removed from the platform. Mind you, Wind Breaker has solid fanbase built in years. With that being said, I know the similarities between Flashlight and Shutline in some categories but to call it as plagiarism is reaching. And tbh none of them are original except for Shin character. Shin is very unique character design in manhwa, in general.
Kyou seems eager to go forward with suing Yangma while Yangma latest statement saying she just want to move forward with her crafts. For an artist who just starting her career, this could instantly kill her career but I'm glad people seems supporting her even more.
I'm not going to debate which one is better artist, for me both are talented. We just need Kyou to sit this one out.
