The translation is a little difficult to read, but I'm managing. One thing I'll say though, the continued use of fls taking on slaves is a concept I feel manwhas need to step away from. I mean yes, you're making their situation a little better by not abusing them and giving them their basic needs. But at the end of the day, you're using them for your own purposes. Not paying them for it either. Food and a roof over your head is not payment. They're your property. Still a slave. And worse yet, because of this, they become attached obsessively to the fls, and can often times do things that go against her wishes because of that. And I don't blame them. It's a disgusting concept to be done over and over again. Buy them if you must, but don't have them as your property. Hire them as your bodyguard with actual monetary compensation. Better yet, hire an actual bodyguard!

Yessssss!!!! I FREAKING CALLED IT FROM THE VERY FIRST TIME WE WERE INTRODUCED TO HIM!! I said the stitches could mean he had undergone some type of experiment! And that it might be the very same as Anya's! That they're both from the same organization! But now that's it almost confirmed, does that mean he knows about operation strix? And he's the one responsible for Anya having that power? Does that mean we're heading into Anya's backstory?! They really need to get on that. I NEED ANSWERS!

I genuinely try not to complain about bad translations, cuz I know the effort put in does be alot. But this time, please. I can't even read the terrible translations because of the added editing on top. Take y'all time, we can wait a few more weeks for better translation. It makes no sense honestly.

I really thought we'd get to see Anya or even Yor get a reading depicting something ominous in the future. But still really enjoyed this chapter. Loid looking at his daughter and realizing that maybe his expectations for her are a little too asked for a father. Despite it being for the mission! They're becoming a real family y'all!!! (≧∀≦)
I really really love this female lead. #1 reason is her handling of "slaves". Instead of so called "finding " them first and making the slave get obsessed with her, she hires them and pays them a fucking salary. I've had the displeasure of seeing wayyyyy to many fls taking this route of rushing to find the "indispensable" individual who always happens to be a victim of slavery. And instead of taking a second to think of idk basic human decency, they always resort to, "oh well' I give them food, shelter and I'm kind, that's enough to have them basically work for me". How has NO ONE THOUGHT TO HIRE THEM UNTIL NOW?!
yes! also their bond feels more natural unlike master-slave one.
On the other side of the WTF coin, we have the Isekai shounens where the male leads buy a slave girl, who then CHOOSES to remain a slave because she wants to show the Male lead her loyalty
