In my understanding, the tea itself is not hypnotic but it's the shadow in the tea! That's why the master can't sell him tea to take home and also has to wear dark back glasses.
The client can see whatever he likes which the master doesn't know. -- He saw a beautiful woman in moth's wing pattern dress!!! (｡^‿^｡)
That's a good explanation but i myself understood it like this--
It says that Huan Ying r tea leaves which has got a hypnoting flaver/taste n at the moment when that man drank it he started to hallucinate n saw that girl which the glassed man couldn't c n i think the reason why those Tee leaves r hypnotic is cos of the poisoned eggs which the poisoned butterfly (humanized as the girl) lay under the leaves...but yeah somethings suspecios about the 4 pics on the end page

- If it's because of the poisoned egg then why can't he sell tea leaves for the client to take home?
- One point that I don't get is.. the master told the client 'Don't touch' the poisonous moth but he beat it with his bare hand.
Yes right ?? I was like "heeh?!!" he just warned him 2 not touch it but killed it by himself i mean what's the poisen ?? If it's the blood/body lequid then he's got it on his hand Palm now-anyway-yeah that's the quation which is a hook for my explanation (!)... Meybe this is the trick of the author 2 leave the viewers with 2 different points of view?Like us?...however- when u mentioned the thing with the shadow in the Tee i got 2 think that meybe u r right in some point n the man wears the glasses 2 not get hypnotized by himself...or he knew what always happens if u drink the Tee n asked the visitor on purpose...but again here popps the quation "y can't the Clinet take the Tee leaves home?!"---in time like this i wish 2 get in2 da head of da author 2 c what they were thinkin n what it realy means

The most charismatic of Nakamura Asumiko's manga is.. she didn't tell all, she just gave clues. How deep each reader get the story is up to how much they get the clues. To be able to create work like this, the mangaka have to be a genius only.
I really love her work, especially her deep one shot. As I'm not only enjoy reading but also enjoy finding the clues. No matter I interpret it right or wrong, it's fun. (⌒▽⌒)
Maybe touching that "poisonous" butterfly/moth is antidote for that tea, idk. It keeps bothering me!
