As I have read this arc in the novel before, immersion rate is like the state of being possessed, however some triggers can regain the consciousness. Gongja's regression skill doesn't help reset the immersion rate, in the next 5-10 episodes I supposed, you will see how Laviel help him regain the memory and identity since they are both a regressor.

The rabbits are
From a fallen kingdom. That guy who hired the wolf to take the hat is in control right now and using them as slaves. Later the princess will show up and her and black rabbit will take the kingdom back, beating the boar and freeing the captive rabbits. There is actually a bit more to it but it involves the dragons.
And yes, the black rabbit does have to stay at that floor to marry the princess, but he does go to visit and where I'm in the novel rn they figure out a way for Sejun to travel to some floors so he'll be able to go to the wedding
