Yeah, I think they did. Cuz like, it's said in one of the newest ch. is that they(humans) got abandoned by the gods so the humans in present time had to rely on people who had god's blessing, hence, the gifted summoneds.

Tbh I’m dropping this shit, it’s just repulsive to read at this point. Like he’s just gonna to continue on being raped and abused, this plot is shit, idk why authors is making innocent MC suffer. This doesn’t make any sense, and yes we saw it in another bl’s but I feel like it wasn’t as drastic as in case of this one cause, as author made it kinda fluf not always tho ML is also sick on the head but this MC is such a pookie. And it’s just gut wrenching to see how author is adding so much abuse and rape in order to thicken the plot?!?!? Like hell nah this plot is piece of bullshit rn.
