The story is good ML is a bit morally grey. We actually don't know his true intentions so I would term him a mysterious personality but not cliche type. The story keeps on your toes

The bet was probably about being able to sleep with her, or make her crush on him, and the friend referenced it because Chanwoo seemed to be failing.
