I'm enjoying the story for the most part and the development of romance between the mc and ML but , the mc explains on the beginning of the story that she would step aside and not interfere between the future romance between the ML and the heroine. So I'm like If u arent going to interfere and u weren't being forced to marry him then why not just not marry him ? Am I dumb or does that make sense ?? I feel like by her accepting the marriage she's holding onto a shed of hope that he'd direct his feelings to her yaknow ?
