In the third life, Aeroc first meets the original Kloff in the rose garden. Kloff, shattered by memories of his first life, mistakes Aeroc for a hallucination or a punishment from hell and attacks him. Aeroc is left shaken, convinced the man is a violent madman. Their second encounter happens when bandits try to rob Aeroc. Kloff saves him again , asks, "Don't you know me?" Aeroc, offended and denies him coldly. Kloff, instead of breaking, rush of hope, believing life has given him another chance to do better. Aeroc, meanwhile, leaves convinced fate has cursed him with a barbaric lunatic.

Later, they meet again at Duchess Clayton’s dinner party, where Kloff has been invited. By then, Kloff is well-known among the nobility for his achievements, famous enough that the Duchess personally introduces Aeroc to him. Only then does Aeroc realize that the lunatic from the rose garden actually has a name and reputation. In a quiet room during the party, Kloff tries to flirt with him. Aeroc, bristling, accuses him of trying to marry into a noble family just to gain a title. Kloff answers calmly that he will take the rank of viscount on his own merits. The argument mostly consists of Aeroc talking himself into righteous irritation while Kloff remains frustratingly composed.

Soon after, Aeroc drives himself into financial disaster. He has the spending sense of a spoiled kitten and zero instinct for reading people, so of course he collapses into ruin. This time, Kloff does not involved in ruins . and everyone points him toward Kloff for help. They form a contract: Kloff will save Aeroc financially, and in return Aeroc must stay close to him and repay him in a personal way. Aeroc reluctantly agrees.

Despite the awkward start, they bond. Aeroc opens the Violet Room, once used by his great-grandfather for scandalous purposes. Instead of using it for such things, Kloff spends time with Aeroc there, listening to him read, talking with him, and slowly getting to know him. Eventually, they become intimate, with Aeroc initiating.

Trouble strikes when Aeroc goes somewhere reckless again went in THE BOTTOM alone and is saved by Kloff from the same men involving the baker and his two accomplices. Days later Kloff accuses Aeroc of being jealous of Raphael, leading to a heated argument where Aeroc slaps him. Kloff insults Raphael again, pushing Rapheal away so Linus will comfort him. Despite this chaos, Aeroc and Kloff eventually end dup together .

However, Kloff begins suffering vivid hallucinations from his first life. In one episode, he calls Raphael by the name of his first-life child, and Aeroc misunderstands, convinced Kloff means Raphael Westport. Confused and caught in the grip of his trauma, Kloff lashes out and tries to kill or beat Aeroc during the illusion. Terrified, Aeroc withdraws from him even after Kloff sends multiple apologies. Kloff breaks down. He divides his assets, giving half to Martha and half to his family, then goes to the same river where the original Aeroc once attempted to end his life, muttering that he will meet his mate there. A spy of Linus sabotages the gun so it explodes in Kloff’s hand instead. Aeroc tends to him afterward. During recovery, Kloff admits he imprinted but could never find his true fated omega. Aeroc secretly searches with Linus’s help yet fails, for reasons we already know. And yes, Aeroc, being dramatic and selfish, feels relief that Kloff’s destined partner is nowhere to be found, because now Kloff will stay his.

Kloff survives, but his body is left deeply scarred. One ear is gone, a jagged mark cuts across his face, his vision remains but his hearing is damaged, and his hand is left with only two fingers. He walks with a slight tremor, and memory loss clouds his mind. He spends most of his days in a small cabin, carving chess pieces from pebbles just like the Aeroc of his first life once did. Aeroc in this third life is no less obsessed than before, and Kloff loves him with the same desperate intensity. He spoils Aeroc, clings to him, tells him he loves him too often and too fiercely. He serves as Aeroc’s personal advisor, living in the manor as both husband and lover. Yet a quiet yearning lingers in him for the first-life Aeroc, the one he broke and can never face again. He knows he will never meet that Aeroc, never confess that he loved him and not Raphael, never ask for forgiveness. In this life, Aeroc becomes an omega but insists he does not want children.

I read on Ko-fi that you have to pay for it. You can find it on Google, but it stopped uploading halfway through the third life. The uploader shared a Ko-fi link there.

I still cant believe Aerok continues to suffer even in the 3rd timeline. This is absolutely awful. Sure, he's just as obsessed but hasn't done ANYTHING wrong in the third! So wtf! Kloff needs to suffer and grovel 10x worse. He only wishes it was Aerok from the first timeline so he could make it right. Yet he continues to do horrible things to the new Aerok over and over again. What a piece of trash! I will NEVER forgive him for what he did in the 1st timeline!

No, he didn’t do anything. He only attacked him because he was having first-life hallucinations. Yes, he manipulated the situation so that Aeroc came to ask for help. He used his future knowledge to gain powerful clients and didn’t ruin Aeroc. Yes, he’s a gray flag, but Aeroc didn’t suffer in the third life — he was actually a diva in that one! Lol. And yes, Kloff should have suffered more, but Kloff loved Aeroc in that timeline and wouldn’t let him cry, always spoiling him. Also, third-life Aeroc has no memories of the first life.

Is it selfish of me to want him have his first life memories.. Ik it will bring back all those haunted memories but if he had those memories would he have avoided kloff just like kloff is only obsessed w uke cuz he remembers the first timeline and nothing more

Well, I thought so too, which is why I wrote a fanfiction about it , set in a modern world, in the fourth timeline, where two of them remember their first life.
