romanticized rape is not meant to be realistic- in that type of story the gravity, horror, and trauma of rape is played down or not acknowledged at all which is why people CAN find it hot.
and whenever there is "no, stop, it hurts" type dialogue in romanticized rape stories, the appeal from what i understand is that deep down the bottom does want it, does like it/the top, etc. its not for me, but dubcon is pretty popular in fiction so there is clearly an audience for it.

This whole story is not supposed to be realistic. The characters don't behave as real people, at times, there are some kinda real- world problems, but at the end , it is fantasy, supposed to stay as fantasy. Nobody promised a masterclass in BDSM, the characters are not trying to form part of the BDSM community. This is not a manual on how to handle YOUR bdsm life. The author doesn't have a responsibility to present medical facts of sex education. You are supposed to be of age and maturity to get your own sex education.

I like Ecles arch,he is the most complex out of them, well probably along with the mage. I honestly liked any of them two the best, too bad the final pick will be a lot more obvious and a way more simple character. From Ecles perspective, everything makes sense, he was a price and it's now a slave, disrespected and looked down upon by everybody including his love/ obsession who is using him and treats him condescendingly. Of course he was gonna do something crazy, his life is fucked up. Honestly, I know most people wants the cool dude Kalisto, but an ex-price who prefers to keep acting as a slave and betray everybody to stay by your side is hot... Except it got a liiitle bit out of hand and betrayed Pen too.

Honestly, this arc made me start to dislike Penelope. It felt like she just became just like the people who abused her. And it’s worse because she KNOWS what that feels like and she, did it anyway!
1. Probably the first couple's story was significantly profitable for the author (probably) so they decided to write a second part... When they were out of ideas, and didn't care anymore about logic, or basic common sense. Cuz let's face it, this dude is fckng stpd. I mean, he throws tantrums that would put to shame a 10 year old. He simply has no more than two or three neurons up there, and two are already overbooked.
2. I got lost, what's the issue with the adoption and such? What was the problem the idiot seme has with the princess dude? (Don't remember the names).
I feel ya on point 1, the auther just made this prince the definition of a stupid spoiled rich brat, both his parents and ppl around spoiled him and gave in to his demands like shit give this guy a "no"
On point 2, turns out princess is the kid of the previous emperor that the current emperor dethrone. Cool story but keeping it a secret really backed fire.
The prince is an idiot and hate that the prinsess is smart and has scholarship achievement while his dumbass just has the title of prince and nothing else. His dad throw him into the military so he'd stop bing a petty brat and instead of learning anything he just became an even more entitled brat with extra thick head.
