i get that this was a bait, but taehwan himself is gay. like, he fucks yeonwu. how the hell is supposed to be homophobic when he fucks guys on the reg? it's fine if you don't like him or whatever, but calling him a homophobe is a stretch at this point.
Well, first of all, I'm not supposed to make decisions based on what hasn't happened yet. The bait was exactly portraying him as an homophobic, which he still is until "the new info" comes.
Then, if he's not homophobic he's still a jerk, and this is not a complain about the character even, the complain is about the author taking the route of "he'll look like a total ass just to add drama, and then ill redeem him making up some excuse".
Right now, the apology is lame, the character is acting like an ass, the writing of this character can be improved like a lot.

Story sounding awfully similar to White horse and Blood C, I don't dislike this story but those examples are way better executed in every way, illustration included.
So, my confusion comes from the fact that I've seen fans angered countless times when there's sexual abuse in a comic (which i don't mind if it's just a porn comic) but I don't see people getting pissed at child abuse (and i don't like kids even), i mean, yes this is just a comic, yes no one is really injured, but the emperor is such a jerk, as a lover and a charachter overall. The emperor is acting as a kid himself, a nasty one at that, even the kid learned some respect without the need of reincarnation.
Plus, the illustration is really bad... Just saying.

Idk when you read and wrote down your comments but most of the people who read this are aware of his abusive behaviour, WHICH ENCOMPASSES EVERYTHING. Most of us just got mindfuck over how unredeemable his character is, literally with his interaction with everyone in the story. He's a crazy psycho. So we just gonna see what else he's gonna do after sexual assaults, physical abuse, child abuse, killong spree. He's everything you don't want in your life.
