I think Chase doesn't hate omegas at all, rather he's very afraid to be used/manipulated. I think he wants to find an omega he can trust. About Joshua, I think Chase feels that everything about him feels "omega" only there's no pheromones, so he's confused and doubt himself. Kinda wishes he was an omega and is relieved he's not an omega, at the same time.
