But I have a child, took care of 3 of my 6 nephews, 2 younger brothers and knows for sure that when a kid is problematic, it's not that kid problem but a problem of his caretaker.

You do at least realize that the abilities he has are his own, after all, not granted by the pill (right? Considering that he says multiple times the pill RELEASES his ability not grants him one), which, in that case, means there might be a reason connected with them that lead to his current employment. I don't know about you but someone who has abilities like that seems unemployable in regular positions especially if he experienced quirky side effects BEFORE he took this job on, as often happens in stories like this.

Finally, my brother did background checks on his roommates before they moved in together and vice versa. They would have been foolish if they hadn't.
