i do feel bad for him like nobody should have to experience that type of abuse when growing up, an i mean it kinda explains his personality if he was constantly surrounded by that negativity but at the same time like shouldn't he know better like he clearly hated how he was treated and also when he was training with the coach the grandmas wouldn't he have like learnt how to treat others its not like he was fully surrounded by negativity. lol just my thoughts anyways
