I'm glad I read the novel ( I almost finished it I just came back to leave this comment). I highly recommend to read the novel, the translation was a bit confusing at first but you get the point of it! It was well detailed and made me love Josh and Chase even more. Chase can be sometime harsh with his words and actions but he have a reason! He used to be an empathetic person ahahah but yes anyway i won't spoil anything unless you want to. Just wanted to say that the story is good to read and I love their dynamic :3

I went to check, he didn't know at first but in the chapter 46 he knew ( i forgot how ) and confronted the guy that sold the drugs to him asking him if he knew the side effects, who was the one providing the goods ( which that guy didn't who it was ) and that he lied to him ( the guy lied to Jiheon about having no side effects )

OKAY GUYS I READ THE RAW ( last chapter is up to chapter 21 for now ) SO HERE SOME SPOILER :
The thing is Mc actually loses some of his memories bc he got into an accident ( I guess from the time he was running away but we don't know yet ) Mc and ML knew each other back then in highschool I think ( from the translation). One day, mc invited ml to his house, he went to buy some snacks to eat while ml was staying still in their living room. ML suddenly heard someone opening the entrance door, he went to check, thinking it would be mc ( before he heard the door opening, he was thinking " he is supposed to be in a business trip", here you can guess who he was talking about ). But unfortunately, it was mc's dad with his mistress. ML knew that mc's dad was cheating but he kept it secret to not hurt mc ( mc's dad actually said to not tell mc cuz he would be hurt ). When he saw that it was mc's dad he was shocked but then tried to pull him inside the house cuz he was scared mc would see him. Too bad for him, mc saw everything. Ml took mc by the wrist and went to a near alley. Mc asked if Ml knew that his dad was cheating on his mother and he said yes, mc was hurt that he didn't tell him and then he ran away. ML ran after him. Time skip, Mc lost him memory and his mom told him that her and his dad divorced, he wanted to know why but mc's mom didn't want to tell him, he kept thinking if it was his fault. He wanted to go back to his father but his mother freaked out saying to not go back to his father. Okay now this flashback was actually his lost but regained memories.
Now here in the present, what happened was, ML and mc were on vacation, mL kept receiving " spam " calls but he never picked up the phone, mc thought that was sus but he didn't think much about it. Then ML finally picked up the phone and he went far away so mc couldn't hear him talks but mc was actually watching him from afar he thought " he's talking with a serious face " or something. Then after ml finished his call mc asked him who it was but ml said it was only his friend. Skipping some part after that they went to the hotel and did the deed, after finishing mc grabbed his own phone ( at least thinking it was his phone ) and went to the near store to buy something to eat, he wanted to pay with his phone but couldn't, thats when he realized it wasn't his phone. He then went out of the store and started walking back to the hotel but then mL kept receiving messages, mc looked at the messages and he saw his mom's messages saying " tell me what seijin is doing " he then know and wondered why mL was in touch with his mother. So Mc confronted ML asking why he was messaging his mom, did everything he said was again a lie from the moment ml said he wanted to get close to him? why would he know what mc liked or disliked and stuff like this. ML panicked and told him that he will tell him the truth now but mc didn't want to hear anything and started running away and Ml ran after him again. Mc almost got into another accident and that's when he regained his lost memories
Can I ask Is there anything about mc's dream back in chapter 1. I assumed it was a forgotten memory of ml and mc having sex back when they knew eachother but the fact ml has just said he was a virgin suggests they didn't also the fact in his dream it turned into older seme
mmh we still don't know about this yet ! now that you've mentioned it, it kinda makes me curious. But from chapter 12 to 21 in the flashback we didn't see them do anything yet ! I'll let you know if they do !
What the freakkkk.. what is going on with ML ??? Its make sense now why there is manipulation tag.. maybe the mom , or maybe the ML himself..
Maybe idk whats going on exactly with the ML.. if its about he is too afraid, disheartened the mc while he is amnesia is a no no…

Or maybe they just want him to not get hurt, cuz if he gets his memory back he will feel hurt and will probably be angry which is maybe why mL doesn't want him to remember cuz he will hate ML for not saying anything to him. And for the mom she's probably scared that his son will go back to her ex cheater husband that's why she wants to know what he's doing or something idk it's kinda sus yes
