so when he realized that MC was the one who gave him food it sort of clicked for him.

Also he realized Cheese wasn’t a stray and that something he had been taking care of for so long actually belonged to someone else. He didn’t want the same to happen with MC, and didn’t want MC to date or “belong” to someone else.

I do get the point that ml “loves” because in a twisted sense at some point he did, now it’s more fueled with possessiveness and lunacy. ML didn’t want him to kill because once he’s dead MC would have no lingering attachments and would just kill himself. But, what is complete bullshit, is abusing him and raping him nonstop. What part of that is necessary? Like MC said you wouldn’t possibly do that to someone you loved
