The MC and ML kinda annoy me. They are way too passive about the emperor and everything in general. Like when they knew there were spies and only got rid of the ones they were certain of, no get rid of anyone remotely suspicious. You forgive the coachman even though he put your family in danger no kick his ass out and donāt look back. You gave your abusive sister a giant bag of gold??? His revenge is against other people. His old boss who is an enemy of his now grandfather.
His uncle is also technically an enemy, but not on the level of his old boss. He's just annoyance that he will deal with in time.
