So she married into a family, had a child with her husband, spent like 15/16 years there. During the war her husband was away fighting, her father in law died and she was pregnant, yet she was able to maintain her husband power over his relatives. And the fucking people that works for her husband still see her as a outsider. Wow, what trash.

Not only that, they blocked her from doing any real work and treated her like trash from the minute she got there. Her possibly being a spy was an excuse, they see her family name and not her. They allowed everyone in that mansion to step and abuse her and her husband turned a blind eye to it all. He’s so “busy” and never cared for how she was treated.
He talks about how she neglected their son, but ignores how he neglected her, and the servants attitudes towards her. She was depressed and with no other outlet their son became to victim of her pent up frustration and pain. He talks about how she only saw him as the best choice, fails to realize he used her too. They both pushed down their feelings and were made to feel like their marriage was just political. But he dares to weaponize it against her as if he didn’t do the same. Their son realized it too.
Every single person has been against her, and it sucks. Nobody cares for her there. It’s all fake. Nobody wants to see her strive or do well. And the son took the fall for all of that anger she had.
Such a satisfying chapter, chef kiss
