That last chapter hes desperate to show him hes the only one that it meant nothing that everyone means nothing .yet doesnt know how to convey it ( hes so nee to all that) he is so use to depriving himself from feeling due and remorse now hes feeling all that and somehow trying not to loose himself. I really love this depth hes sense of feeling so agonized he even shows here like no re no real thought to the one that he’s currently with supposedly all you see is here as hell how we felt so isolated that he didn’t know why he got here and at the same time we all know alexi probably do it so he wouldn’t be targeted. He need to show that he didn’t care for Lushea and him being so young wouldn’t understand it we could see even as he was conflicted through many years. He still cares and wanted his Young to walk him the way he loved him or see him. I feel like there’s a lot going on and how love and hate her so close to each other, but they could be easily returned.
