I personally love the realness with the hung body. It’s called tongue protrusion and it happens in hanging, drowning, burning, and strangulation (due to asphyxiation). It’s caused by the compression of neck tissue and cells which causing the tongue, a long organ, to essentially pop out. Very sad a kid so young killed himself in the book, but amazing showcase of his hanged body.

There’s so many ways this can go Like KEI said, the cat could find the poison — our boy was like “attachments are bad” to the cat but it was obviously him warning himself but could be a double entendre. The poison could be found by someone else and he is forced/chased out which leads the ML to go look for him. MC could successfully poison ML but (assuming his high position he would have experience with poison) it could not affect him. MC could hesitate as well giving an opening for ML. Although the ML totally knows that MC will try to kill him, he just has feelings for him so he doesn’t want to do anything to stop him. I think MC will definitely try to end his life after his attempt fails/is chased out, or something else happpens, or he believes he succeeded, which gives us too much ANGST GIRL. There could be the chance that that doesn’t happen at all and the creepy purple guy from before goes after him but he’s not that dumb and knows his position. OR MC JUST RUNS OFF AFTER BEING TOO COMFLICTED WITH HIS EMOTIONS WHAT IS HAPPENING YALL
