It’s so refreshing to read something where romance isn’t the main focus, especially wlw with action and gore. The story is genuinely interesting, and the art is stunning too. I also appreciate how easy the panels are on the eyes. I hope we get many more chapters, and even more stories like this in the future.
This might be a controversial take, but what if Margo had gone down (sex) with Elise first instead of Peggy? Would you? she? we? have developed different feelings toward Elise? To me, Peggy and Elise aren't that different in how they treat Margo when it comes to intimacy both were forceful and manipulative in their own ways. I might be forgetting some early chapters, but it feels strange how people praise Peggy as if she’s completely different from Elise, as if she never used underhanded tactics to get Margo in the first place.
This felt like wandering for eternity across a sun scorched desert, lips cracked, soul fading, until at last we spotted salvation. A glimmering glass of ice cold water. We reached out, trembling with hope, ready to be saved. Then, right before we could taste it, some cruel cosmic force ripped it away and kick us back into the depths of suffering. What in the actual hell.
I'm still loving the story and art tho, PEAK IS PEAK.
