Nah that's why I love this arc it shows just how indoctrinated brainwashing works. Shingen was raised from birth being told that the rules are the only thing that matters and his existence is purely to serve the "older brother" but when someone like that finds out the rules have been broken they'll do anything to return them to their correct positions even if he's a 90 year old man he'd fight because that's all he knows: rules are meant to be followed.
