This is my favourite manga. I love the slow building atmosphere, the heart breaking confession, the angst for a reply... I loved onoda from doushitemo furetakunai and i felt he needed a story. But my fave is deguchi. He is cheerful, playful and mature at the same time. Knows what he wants and he will try slowly to catch it. I know people dislike him because he had sex although he was in love with onoda but I find it pretty normal. I mean he was in love for years with a guy that he did not have a single chance -a heterosexual. Maybe it is because I am kinda older than most of people here but irl this is often the case. Yoneda is the best in making realistic characters and stories.

In the beginning I read Onoda and Deguchi's story as extras of DF, I didn't like it because it was so cringe-y. But I changed my mind once I read the chapter about the past, from where we can learn what kind of person Deguchi was and why he behaved like that in front of Onoda. He was super cute, like when what he had believed was the opposite of what he felt once he fell in love lol
And yeah, when you're old enough, having no-string-attached sex is, understandable, although it is not for everyone... (sorry to break it to you, young readers...)
