I'm honestly getting confused on why the sister and her partner is so mad at ML

So as I remember from the novel it was in fact the ml who hurt his brother.
But that was because the father gave supressants to control pheromones to all of his kids except ml. That's why he entered in shock and hurt his brother. But he didn't remeber any of it at that time (that's why he ask what happened and who hurt his brother).
As for the reason behind his father not giving him suppressants, it was because he and his sister were the strongest of the pack but the sister listened better to the father, so he decided to raise ml as the guardian of the pack. Making him live in his wolf form most of his chilhood/adolescence.
He made him an outsider just so he could fulfill a job:c
