It gets REALLY bad. Like even worse compared to previous chapters. I read in a spoiler thread that the MC got fucked up so bad he becomes hospitalized(borderline disabled???) and that's what essentially mellowed the ML out and started caring for him.

Yep the rape is brutal, but later mc gets shot by someone? Taeha's dad (I think), and the author decided out shot MC gonna go take a dip into the deep deep water as well. Which causes respiratory problems, asthma, even with slight activity and sex. (Like he wasn't nerfed as is)
Got saved by the psycho (taeha). And psycho starts his "alrrr my good guy arch is here baby boii, even if it's shallow as fuckkkk) and starts feeling "remorseful". Being careful while having sex. (What a good man he is!)
Psycho pt 2. (Taeha's cousin, Aeil) Doesn't really get reprimanded? More like rewarded? (I don't remember, take it with salt sea)
Uhh I THINK they got married, we have some office romance bs. And then BOOM! U find out the drowning debt the psycho "paid off", well he didn't "pay it off", bc he was the fucking man who put our MC in the debt to begin with. Which MC finds out later and gets mad about and all, everything else is a haze from there. But yea main plot points.

But anyways the misunderstanding from the start where they got separated during their teenage years, I don't remember the exact details but it's when the ML were like moving out and was waiting for the MC (?) or it's like the other way around and the ML thought that the MC abandoned him in the past since he didn't showed up (but he actially did showed up but was blocked off by the ML's mom). I don't really quite remember that much but that's the misunderstanding I'm referring to
