This is a manhwa that I come back to occassionally like a rotation because of how it fills me up. It's not just two men falling in love and their relationship, but also about supportive friendships and other meaningful relationships that really stay with you like the comfort of residual warmth. Everyone finds their place through the consequences of their actions and that's the mundane typical of life, but there's still hope for what's to come. Wish there was more from the author <3
Didn't like how they (tao with some ideas from jing xiu) orchestrated and basically forced ningwei to have a breakdown and 'confess' her reason for being unable to move forward in acting. With how things went down, ningwei was forced to relieve her past trauma and it could have easily escalated (I was especially scared knowing of how she took her life in the previous timeline so I was pissed they took the route of forcing her). Also another gripe of mine is when characters are forced to consider another's feelings just because they spent a lot of effort on you, I mean you can put as much effort as you want but you can't use it to demand reciprocity (and i believe if you truly love that person, any action you take should be unconditional regardless of whether they may reciprocate or not) sorry for the long rant its just this aspect of 'pursuing' a partner is always taken lightly in media as if no matter what action you take to pursue someone they should be grateful for it
