eclis seems like the general bad end route in an otome game, regardless of whether he's under yvonne's trance he's just simply the wrong type of person to be entangled with. sure penelope might've had a hand in eclis' unbecoming, but to me it simply just looks like he's the bad end by default. so no matter how much you have raised the affection (by amy other means) it didn't matter.
(although i don't really remember much of the novel anymore so im rambling)
well at least in hard mode, i don't think there was a bad end in the easy mode.
