I was thinking the same thing. But I lowkey didn't wanna comment. Cuz from my (rather poor) memory, she didn't mention much about her dad. She said that after her mom got sick and stuff she had to become the ehad of the house hold. So I think her dad is either dead or just absent, but dead if that's his soul. Which makes sense why pork cutlet thingy is staring at her and looks like her.
There's a flashback to her past on chapter 46. Her dad was one of the shamans who died when the seal on the golden-eyed monster broke.

So what if the professor was behind the kidnapping when they were kids (like paid someone to get him or whatever) which is why his dad helped the MC during that time and supported him so his son wouldn't get caught and now the prof is back trying to get him again (the weird stuff with the drugs - someone said the prof was involved in switching them to something more dangerous that erases memory + turns into omega idk)
Honestly, everything else aside it doesn't make sense why past ido agreed to the marriage in the first place? Or even the kwon family for setting it up?
