But yes you're right, money meant power after all. However, the authors' selection of this option especially made me tired. "She didn't spend any money?! What?! Wow she's not like other girls.'' or '' She is not together with my master just for his money, she's a really special, amazing person. I must serve her for the rest of my life.'' etc etc...

Why spending money determines a character's personality? Why is this portrayed as a problem? Why would it be a bad thing for the main character to like jewelry things? It's just not realistic at all and does not give me any feeling...

Male characters are also the types of people who always desire strong women and want them to be different from other women. They are really simple. I also love to see strong female characters, but they have a meaningless burden on them.

This kind of thing really pisses me off but I keep reading because I'm a masochist.

I think it's because in historical times being greedy af was the stereotype.And i personally think that a well built male character isn't the typical douchebag. Examples: Usui takumi(Kaichou es mais sama), ataksuki sensei ( Tsunami chou lonely planet), Haru(taiyou no ie), Karsus (sica wolf), Noah (The reason Realiana ended up at the duke's masion),nine (Beware of the Villainess!),etc
