rachel's the kind of "villain" i really like. She may not hold malice towards marie but she knew she's good at what she does and knew the prince favors her. She easily got marie to her side by being good to her and getting her sympathy
You can't really call this betrayal because rachel told marie her intentions whether it's the whole truth or not. In the first place, marie was already set on helping rachel even without having a full conversation with her. Marie willingly helped her and rachel just took that opportunity that's handed to her

Totally agree. Even if she ends up being a bitch or whatever, I can’t help admire her manipulative nature and cleverness. And let’s be honest, literally everyone in the novel is selfish and it’s not really that shocking in the world of nobility that Marie lives in. In truth, Marie is the “weird” one for caring more about helping people while everyone else favours wealth and status. Rachel too is probably desperate to survive, even if it means being a bitch (well at least that’s how I see things so far). Basically I can see her being the lesser of many, many evils. Her good points could outweigh a simple betrayal. Then again, my opinion of her is likely to change depending on how bitchy she actually is.

I would always choose a clever antagonist over a naive mc. Rachel's attitude is actually worthy that of an empress. Unless of course, she's only using that position to destroy the kingdom. Marie's too much of a saint, i worry that will be her demise to point that she may unintentionally help the bad guys. The last time she helped someone, a building was on fire lol
b-but masturbation is also sex though. The lonely kind of sex
God...I totally can relate to that. Hahahah
And to think uke has to pause masturbation for a week...a whole week...one week is...7 days...that means...seven days...urgh...that I can't fathom lol
