I'll keep my review very short and you'll get the idea. The past abuse is incredibly traumatic, but somehow, the story masks it with a light comedy and I hate that. This had potential until it losts its way
so what really irks me about this story is the lack of mother-daughter bond. Like, the very reason he adopted her in the first place was for the mother. Yes, they had their moment, there's some tears falling and then we rarely see the mother after.
I get that she's sick and needs to rest a lot but like, I just think that if the daughter that you love so much went missing from KIDNAPPING and is back, sick or not, you would want to be on their side all the damn time and author just doesn't show that enough.
Literally, their first meeting was, get yourself acquainted and i'll see you at dinner uwu, like??? The indifference is killing me lol
