Black and slave don’t go hand in hand in American culture. Talk about it in other culture and they don’t immediately think about the slavery that occurred in America. In Asian culture they think of the world black as evil or dark. Hell in western culture it’s the same. Now slavery is bad, but unfortunately this was something that occurred all over the world with different ethnicities hence why slavery was added in. Still don’t condone it, but realize you can’t just take one perspective and automatically presume everything based on that.
