It is a tiny bit cliche but Hyeon relationship and maturity towards his distant dad was very well done. A lot of the stories show a really bad parent and exaggerate it but in the end, the dad doesn’t wanna drag his son down and doesn’t want his son to expose himself to a world of terrible people. I also enjoy how gugu’s dad relationship with hyeon growing up. This story was so wholesome I’m so glad I found it. !

I was hoping the baby in ch 1 (the one on the train, tugging MC’s sleeve) was going to be a reoccurring character.
the cute baby throwbacks should cut through the tears of watching someone’s departure but … it just made it even more sad.
it’s sweet to see the imagery of the snake blocking the grandpas path to the afterlife and watch after the dream version of his son (taesun’s dad) in the meantime.
Why did the art have to improve while the story fell apart. If it’s not gonna be a throuple. Then can he be with the alpha? They’re both terrible but before it went bad, I liked the chemistry they had.

He probably doesn’t know exactly, but he knows he is way past his deadline and by some miracle, he was able to stay long enough to say his goodbyes. Of course as a reader, I want grandpa to live, he’s been the anchor in mc life. But grandpas life is tethered to the snakes aura.
