this isnt at all a case of a weak mc. this is very much a manipulated mc (ofc lol). im so glad hes finally getting out of the clutches of BOTH the queen and the king. obviously his mother is wayyyyyyyy more at fault however his father neglecting him and LETTING the queen go this far and manipulate his own son into behaving this way and doing these things. you can finally see him understanding his entire viewpoint has been restricted so he thinks he cant escape :’)
